Western Washington has gone from it’s hottest day in recorded history to unseasonably cool weather in a week! It’s nice to have it cool down, though. I have been spending more time working on the yard and getting back into my groove at work.
This last weekend, my mom stopped by with my Aunt Carol whom I haven’t seen since my wedding, I think! Aunt Carol and Uncle Don were ever present in my life growing up which was very cool. Aunt Carol read stories to my brother and I and Uncle Don taught me how to ride a motorcycle when I was 12 or so. It’s hard to believe my Aunt is in her late 70’s, now. She still seems as spry and nimble as ever, though. My Uncle Don passed away this last year, though, and she has come back from Arizona to have an ocean-side memorial.
