Home Project (Kitchen) The kitchen was blue when we bought the house… as in blue floor, blue ceiling, blue cabinets, blue counter tops. Not only was everything blue, but it was the same color of blue. Dana picked out the color scheme seen here and I was a bit hesitant at first, but after a while the colors sort of grow on you.Over the past two years I have been slowly updating the appliances. I love to cook, so a modern kitchen is a must for me  In the picture is the new Samsung fridge with french doors and pull-out freezer on the bottom and the Samsung range I bought for Christmas in 2007. I would like to have a gas range, but PSE told me it would cost me 20K+ to run a line to my house and I figured it’s not that important.Ultimately, I would like to convert the garage into a full kitchen with an island and a formal dining room, but that is quite a ways down the road still. |

Kristin’s Room While Kristin may not live with me right now, I thought she should still have a cool room to call her own. I had avoided IKEA in the past, but they have some surprisingly sturdy furniture for kids! |
