I haven’t been blogging very much lately. I just have not had much to talk about. Now everything I blog about seems to me to be white noise and there is plenty of that in the blogosphere already. Bah, what’s a little more!
Hohum.
So what I’ve been doing lately? Watching a lot of movies and TV from the 80’s courtesy of Netflix, of course! A lot of the movies I liked from back then don’t seem the same any more. UHF is a great example. I used to think it was hilarious and now it just seems… tired. Airwolf is still worth watching, though (despite some terrible acting). I’ve watched nearly two whole seasons worth. Harr! It’s kind of freaky how some of the plot devices have become reality: The divorce of Prince Charles and Princess Diana was in one episode… a good 10 years before that event took place. A second episode depicted the hijacking of “Flight 93″ and the intentional crashing of it. Hmm. The script writers must have been consulting the Book of Nostradomus.
It’s going to take me weeks to get the Airwolf theme music out of my head, though…
