Home Datacenter

Calling it a datacenter is definitely a bit of a stretch, but I am adding my second, semi-modern Dell server to my rack this week and phasing out the old servers (trading up from 600Mhz Xeons to 2.8+Ghz Xeons with dual cores).  I will use the servers to deploy and test my custom-built PHP framework and hopefully my Facebook app(s): ‘WMD’, aka ‘Emerald Web’, and a shopping app which has yet to be given a name.

One of these two servers is already running Fedora 14 and the other will be running Windows 2003.  In the next few weeks I will be trying to get my business license and acceptance into the Microsoft Bizspark program (so I can get 2008 Server).
